About Chris

Burbank deserves better. Chris has a plan for that.

Chris Yoosefi served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy, built a business from the ground up, and is raising his family right here in Burbank. He knows what it means to show up when things are hard, and that's exactly why he's running. Burbank's unemployment rate is sitting at 6.9%. Downtown parking meters run until midnight, hurting the small businesses on San Fernando that make this city worth visiting. The Starlight Bowl has been stuck in a planning process since 2012. These aren't abstract policy debates. They're things that affect us, every day. Chris isn't a career politician. He's your neighbor, and he has a plan to fix what's broken without losing what we love about this city.

Campaign focus

Bring Burbank's Economy Back to Life.

Burbank was built on creativity, commerce, and community. Chris has a plan to rebuild that foundation by connecting local residents to jobs, supporting small businesses, and cutting through the red tape that slows growth. When neighbors thrive, the whole city wins.

Strong Schools, Strong Neighborhoods.

Strong schools mean strong neighborhoods. Chris is committed to making sure Burbank's classrooms have the funding, resources, and support they need so every family in this city knows their kids are set up to succeed, not just get by.

Progress With Purpose.

Burbank has a character worth fighting for and a future worth planning for. Chris believes we can grow smarter, lower costs for residents, and keep what makes this city special. Progress and preservation aren't opposites. In Burbank, they go hand in hand.

Preserve Burbank's Charm.

From the Starlight Bowl to Magnolia Park to the streets where your kids walk to school, Burbank has something worth protecting. Chris will make sure that every development decision and every city contract puts residents first, not outside developers and private operators.
